After a very successful 2005 season with a Mazda3, Josh Sirota has teamed up with Derek Butts to compete in the Touring 2 class in SCCA National Club Racing for the 2006 season. Josh drives the #24 Subaru WRX STi, and Derek drives the #23.

We're looking forward to a fun and successful racing season, culminating with the 2006 SCCA Runoffs at Heartland Park in Topeka, KS in October.

February 25-26	National Willow Springs Rosamond, CA	Practice Qualifying Race Full Event	Josh's Race Video (43MB, 8mins)	Another 1-2 finish for Go Dog Go Racing! We're naturally very excited about our results so far!
March 17-19	Double National Thunderhill Raceway Park Willows, CA	Race 1: Practice Qualifying Race Race 2: Practice Qualifying Race Full Event	Josh's Race 1 Video Hi-res (99MB, 25mins) Lo-res (48MB, 25mins) Josh's Race 2 Video Hi-res (34MB, 5mins)	Another good weekend! Derek won the first race with Josh in 4th, with a huge 13-car turnout, including a couple of Pro drivers. Josh repeated his 4th place finish in Sunday's race, but Derek had a wheel bearing failure and was scored a DNF.
May 12-14	National Portland International Raceway Portland, OR	Practice Qualifying Race Full Event	Josh's Race Video (49MB, 9mins) Derek's Race Video (37MB, 5mins)	Big turnout of 9 cars in T2. We did quite well, but unfortunately, it was the team's first loss of the year, with Derek finishing 2nd and Josh 4th.
June 2-4	Double National Pacific Raceways Kent, WA	Practice Qualifying 1 Race 1: Qualifying 2 Race Race 2: Qualifying 3 Race Full Event	Derek's Race 2 Video (36MB, 7mins)	Another 1-2 finish in Saturday's race! Josh had a heck of a battle for 2nd-5th place with a number of other cars, but came out on top, behind Derek who led flag-to-flag. On Sunday in the rain, the combination of Hoosier Wet tires and All Wheel Drive really helped! Josh moved from the back of the pack up to 2nd place and was closing on Derek in 1st when the clutch failed on lap 8 (of 20) and caused his race to end early. Derek clinched the Division Championship with another win.
June 9-11	National (Rose Cup) Portland International Raceway Portland, OR	Practice Qualifying Race Full Event	Josh's Race Video (38MB, 5mins)	Derek skipped this race. Josh qualified 2nd, only a tenth behind the leader at his home track, and finished in 2nd under yellow.
June 30-July 2	National Infineon Raceway Sonoma, CA	Practice Qualifying Race Full Event	Josh's Race Video (59MB, 11mins)	Another mechanical problem, this time a differential on Derek's car that kept him from starting the race. Josh started the race in 3rd, fell back to 4th, and then finished 2nd. It was a very fun race!
October 9-15	SCCA Runoffs Heartland Park Topeka, KS	Results	Derek's Race Video (39MB, 16mins) Watch for the race on Speed Channel, Thursday 11/30 at 2pm EST!	Due to issues at home, Josh had to skip the biggest event of the year. But Derek had a great week, finishing the championship race in 8th place, behind 5 Pro drivers. An excellent finish for a Runoffs rookie!
